Terms of Use
The ground rules for using OpsDrawer. They’re short, and written to be read.
Last updated
In these terms, “OpsDrawer”, “we” and “us” mean the people who run opsdrawer.com, and “you” means anyone using it. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
The service
OpsDrawer is a free collection of tools for everyday work with documents, images, audio and video. You don’t need an account to use the public tools. Some tools are only open to staff who sign in. How each tool handles your files is explained beside it and in the Privacy Policy.
Your files and content
What you put into a tool — files, documents, links, text — stays yours, and so does what the tool makes from it. We claim no rights over it and use it only to do what you asked the tool to do.
You’re responsible for having the right to use what you put in and what you make. Check the results before you rely on them: conversions can differ from the original, and text recognition and AI can make mistakes.
Using OpsDrawer fairly
When you use OpsDrawer, please don’t:
- use it for anything illegal, or to make, store or share unlawful, harmful or abusive material;
- use it on content you don’t have the right to use — that includes other people’s copyrighted work and personal information;
- remove watermarks or other marks from documents you aren’t entitled to change, or use the tools to hide where something came from;
- try to get round our usage limits or security, test the site for weaknesses without our permission, or interfere with it working for others;
- send automated traffic to the tools or their server endpoints, or resell or rebrand the tools as your own.
Downloading videos and thumbnails
The YouTube and Wistia tools are meant for videos and thumbnails you own or have permission to use. You’re responsible for making sure you have that right, and for following the terms of the platform you download from — YouTube’s terms, for example, limit downloading. OpsDrawer doesn’t get round password protection, sign-in or other restrictions, and won’t help you to.
AI features
The Thumbnail Generator uses AI models run by Replicate. Don’t send it anything you aren’t allowed to share with such a service, and don’t ask it for unlawful or harmful images. AI images can resemble existing work or people: check what you get before you publish it. If you use your own Replicate key, Replicate’s terms and charges apply to your account.
Staff and admin access
Some tools and the admin area are open only to people given a staff or admin password. If you have one, keep it to yourself, don’t share it outside the people it was given to, and tell us if you think someone else has it. We may change passwords or end access at any time.
Other services
Some tools work with services run by others, such as Google Docs, YouTube, Wistia and Replicate. We don’t control them, and their own terms apply when you use them through OpsDrawer. Links to other websites are for convenience; we aren’t responsible for their content.
Availability and changes
OpsDrawer is free, and we can’t promise it will always be available or work without interruption. We may change, limit or remove any tool or feature, set or change usage limits, or stop the service, at any time and without notice. We may block access for anyone who breaks these terms.
No warranty
OpsDrawer is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind — including that it’s accurate, reliable, fit for a particular purpose, or free of errors or viruses. Keep your own copies of anything important: a tool may fail or give an unexpected result.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of OpsDrawer or from not being able to use it. As OpsDrawer is free, our total liability to you for anything else is limited, as far as the law allows, to zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore will deal with any dispute — unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your own courts or to the protection of its laws, in which case you keep that right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using OpsDrawer after a change, the new terms apply to you.
