Thumbnail Generator
Turn an article, Word file, Google Doc or web page into AI-made thumbnail images for a blog post or video.
At least 200 characters; up to 100,000.0 characters
Your text goes through OpsDrawer's server to an AI on Replicate, which writes the Image prompts; the images are drawn on Replicate and passed back through OpsDrawer. OpsDrawer stores none of it; Replicate deletes API requests and results after about an hour.
A short line of text the AI writes and the image model draws in. Off: the images have no text at all.
Every Image prompt (and Headline) is shown for editing before anything is drawn; what is drawn is exactly what you reviewed.

How to do it
- Choose where the content is coming from: paste the Text of an article or script, choose a Word file, or give a Google Doc or Web page link and press Read Doc or Read page.
- Check what was read — the tool shows how many words it found — and press Edit as text to change it before you go on.
- Open Settings to pick the Image model, the Image dimensions (16:9, 1:1, 9:16 or a custom size), a Thumbnail style and the Number of images, and whether to add a Headline.
- Press Generate thumbnails. The AI writes an Image prompt for each picture, and — with Review prompts before generating on, as it starts — you can edit every prompt and Headline before anything is drawn.
- Press Download on the ones you like, or Download all (.zip). Draw again makes a new image from the same prompt.
Questions
- What can I make thumbnails from?
- Pasted text (200 to 100,000 characters), a Word file (.docx) up to 50 MB, a Google Doc shared as "Anyone with the link", or a public web page. Pages behind a login or a paywall can't be read — paste their text instead.
- Is my content sent anywhere?
- Yes, the text goes through OpsDrawer's server to AI models on Replicate, which write the prompts and draw the images. OpsDrawer stores none of it; Replicate deletes requests and results after about an hour. A Word file itself is read in your browser — only its text is sent.
- Can I change what the AI draws?
- Yes. With Review prompts before generating on (the default), every Image prompt and Headline is shown for editing first, and what's drawn is exactly what you reviewed. Write again asks the AI for new prompts.
- How many thumbnails can I make?
- Up to 8 images at a time. Images made with OpsDrawer's Shared key count towards a Daily limit, which resets at midnight by OpsDrawer's server clock (server time, not necessarily yours); the key dialog shows how many are left today. With your own Replicate key there's no Daily limit, and the images are billed to your Replicate account.
- Is my own Replicate key stored?
- Not on OpsDrawer's server: it's sent with each request and used only for that call to Replicate. Tick Remember on this device to keep it in this browser, and press Forget to remove it.
- Why is the headline misspelled?
- Some image models sometimes get text wrong, and the tool warns you when the chosen one is one of them. Check each image, press Draw again, or choose a model that's good at text.
- Are my thumbnails saved?
- No. Nothing is kept once you leave the page, so download the ones you want first — the page asks before you leave with thumbnails that haven't been downloaded.
