When you'd do this
You've a mix of images — WebPs saved from websites, PNG screenshots, AVIFs, TIFF scans — and need them all as JPGs for a form, an email, a print order or an app that takes nothing else.
What to expect
Each image becomes a JPG at 80% with its own width and height. Photos from PNG, TIFF or BMP usually get much smaller; images that were already WebP or AVIF usually get bigger, since those formats compress better than JPG. Transparent areas are filled with white, and animations give their first frame.
Recommended settings
80% for most images; 90% or more for anything you'll print or edit, and for screenshots with text. The Background colour you pick applies to every transparent image in the batch.
Where it opens
Every device, app, browser, email client, print service and upload form.
Good to know
- HEIC photos can't be read — on an iPhone, a photo chosen from Photos usually arrives as a JPG anyway.
- Transparency isn't kept: JPG has none.
- From an animated GIF or WebP only the first frame is converted.
How to do it
- Choose your images, or drop or paste them on the page — any mix of formats.
- Each is set to JPG. Change one on its own row if you like, and set Quality, Background and Resize in Settings.
- Convert all, then download each JPG, or all of them in one .zip.
