WebP, PNG, JPG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, AVIF, SVG or ICO, one or many. Drop them here or paste with ⌘V / Ctrl+V. Choose what each becomes on its row.
Runs on your device. Images are read and converted in your browser and aren't uploaded.

How to do it
- Choose your images, drop them on the page or paste them with ⌘V / Ctrl+V. Add as many as you like, in any mix of formats.
- On each image's row, pick what it becomes in Convert to. Images start as WebP (a WebP starts as a PNG), and an image can be made in its own format too, to make it smaller or resize it.
- To set every image to the same format at once, open Settings and choose it in Convert to. Settings also holds Quality, Resize and the options of the format you picked.
- Press Convert all, or Convert on one row.
- Download each image from its row, or press Download all to get them in one .zip.
Questions
- Are my images uploaded?
- No. Every image is read, converted and saved in your browser, on your device, and never leaves it.
- Which formats can I convert?
- WebP, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, TIF and BMP, in any direction. AVIF, SVG and ICO files can be read and converted to any of those.
- Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos?
- No, HEIC and HEIF photos can't be converted here. On the iPhone, share or choose the photo from Photos — it arrives as a JPG — or set Settings › Camera › Formats to Most Compatible.
- Does converting remove the photo's location and camera details?
- Yes. Every image made here is saved without its EXIF, XMP and other hidden details, location included. A photo's rotation is applied to the pixels first, so it still faces the right way.
- Are animated GIFs and WebPs kept animated?
- Yes, when a GIF or animated WebP becomes a GIF or WebP: every frame, its timing and its loop count are kept. Any other format takes the first frame, and the row says so.
- How big can an image be?
- Up to 256 MB. A very large image is scaled down to fit what the browser can draw, and its row tells you when that happens.
